All of our videos come with captions, and the backend setting is toggled "on" so every video should show captions automatically by default. These captions have been commissioned through Rev.com, which means they were created by a human and not AI (which often doesn't accurately capture lingo used within marginalized communities). Further, each caption file has been manually checked for accuracy by a member of the Collaborate team in order to ensure that it represents the true content within each video.

One of the reasons we chose Thinkific as our platform for eCourses is the ability slow down or speed up all videos as learners watch them. You have the option to watch videos in any of the following speeds: .05x, .075x, 1x, 1.25x, 1.50x, 1.75x, 2x. You can change this playback preference at any time by accessing the gear icon on the bottom right of the video playbar.
